Il Fiarì Ensemble organizza da ottobre a dicembre 2010 la decima edizione della rassegna "IN SCENA!", cinque spettacoli in cui la musica contemporanea è contaminata con le altre arti performative: teatro, danza, cinema e video.
Cerchiamo opere video innovative e dai caratteri originali che accompagnino l'esecuzione dal vivo di tre brani dal ciclo Die Stücke der Windrose di Mauricio Kagel: Osten, Nordwesten e Süden. Composti tra il 1988 e il 1994, rappresentano brillantemente lo stile maturo del maestro argentino recentemente scomparso, basato sulla commistione tra musiche del passato e sonorità del presente, viaggiando tra Paesi e culture differenti.
La selezione è aperta a videoartisti senza limiti di età o nazionalità e la partecipazione è completamente gratuita.
Possono essere ammesse due tipologie di opere:
1- video fissato su supporto digitale, senza restrizioni di genere (astratti, fiction, sperimentale, etc.).
2- video generato in tempo reale (basato su manipolazione d'immagini e grafica in tempo reale).
La durata totale dell'opera video dovrà essere adattabile alla durata dei brani eseguiti dal vivo; ogni artista può scegliere la soluzione che riterrà più idonea. Durate indicative: Osten ca. 5'45'', Nordwesten ca. 8', Süden ca. 12'.
I partecipanti dovranno inviare entro il 30 LUGLIO 2010:
- per la categoria 1 (video fissato su supporto digitale): nr.1 copia del video su DVD; per la categoria 2 (video generato in tempo reale): nr.1 copia di una simulazione del video in tempo reale su DVD (in entrambi i casi in formato DVD-video regione 2, oppure file video in formato non compresso)
- breve nota di presentazione (in italiano o inglese)
- curriculum vitae (in italiano o inglese)
Gli autori delle tre opere selezionate saranno contattati all'inizio di settembre 2010. I video selezionati saranno presentati durante il concerto del 21 ottobre 2010 presso il Teatro Vittoria di Torino. L'Associazione Fiarì Ensemble invierà, a tutti coloro che ne faranno richiesta, i files mp3 di una esecuzione-tipo delle musiche scelte.

Fiarì Ensemble organize from October to December 2010 the tenth edition of the concert series "IN SCENA!", five shows where contemporary music is contaminated with other performative arts: theater, dance, cinema and video.
We are looking for innovative and original video works that accompany a live execution of three pieces from the Mauricio Kagel's cycle Die Stücke der Windrose: Osten, Nordwesten and Süden. Composed between 1988 and 1994, they brightly represent the mature style of the Argentinian maestro recently disappeared, based on a mix between music of the past and sonorities of the present, traveling between Countries and different cultures.
The selection is open to video-artists without limits of age or nationality and the participation is completely free.
Two typologies of works can be admitted:
1 - video fixed on digital support, without restrictions of genres (abstract, fiction, experimental, etc.).
2 - video generated in real time (based on manipulation of images and graphics in real time).
The total duration of the work video must be adaptable to the duration of the music performed live; every artist can choose the solution that will hold fitter. Indicative durations: Osten ca. 5'45 '', Nordwesten ca. 8', Süden ca. 12.'
The participants must send within JULY 30, 2010:
- for the category 1 (video fixed on digital support): nr.1 copy of the video on DVD;
- for the category 2 (video produced in real time): nr.1 copy of a simulation of the video in real time on DVD (in both cases in DVD-video region 2 or file video in non-compressed format)
- brief note of presentation (in Italian or English)
- curriculum vitae (in Italian or English)
The authors of the three selected works will be contacted to the beginning of September 2010. Selected videos will be presented during the concert of October 21st, 2010 near the Teatro Vittoria in Turin. Association Fiarì Ensemble will send, to all those people that will apply for it, the files mp3 of a sample performance of the selected music.
